Fashion Pakistan, the top
front platform for Pakistani fashion designers, is pleased to announce the
schedule of ‘Fashion Pakistan Week Autumn Winter 2014’ The Fashion Pakistan
team proudly gives Pakistan its first ever official fashion week and being the
only institution holding 2 fashion weeks per year based on Spring/Summer and
Autumn/Winter.
Fashion Pakistan Week
A/W2014 will be held from 25th–27th November, 2014 in Karachi. Fashion Pakistan
currently involves the finest designers from Pakistan fashion industry and intends
to make bigger the upcoming event and better in terms of both participation and
attendance.
The designers/brands displaying
their art at the Fashion Pakistan Week A/W 2014 include, Aamna Aqeel, Ayesha
Farooq Hashwani, Deepak Perwani, Adnan
Pardesy, DnF, Emraan Rajput, Faraz Mannan, Fnk Asia, Ishtiaq Afzal Khan, Gul
Ahmed, Levis, Maheen Karim, Maheen Khan, Nauman Arfeen, Nida Azwer, Sadaf
Malaterre, Sana Safinaz, Shehla Chatoor ,Sanam Chaudhri, and Zaheer Abbas.
Official makeup masters
for the event are NABILA(N-PRO) and N GENTS for
three days event. The show will be held under the direction of Hasan
Sheryar Yasin and backstage will be managed by production 021. The official
event and media partners for FPW A/W2014 is HUM TV network.
In addition to the
three day Fashion Pakistan Week, Fashion Pakistan will also be holding an
additional exclusive event called MILLENNIAL FASHION (previously called GenEX)
right before the fashion week, to be held on the 22nd of November 2014 at a
separate location. 5 new fashion designers will make their debut through this
platform.
The Millennial Fashion
is an event which is designed as an opportunity for young talent, to
penetrate the barriers set forth for budding designers by giving them a chance
to showcase their work. This event is a stepping stone for future
entrepreneurs, by providing them a solid experience in their field, for a
chance to be recognized and to learn, to give more focus to new talent, helping
them with their first step to a successful career.
The millennial fashion
will launch new designers, styling teams, models and new choreographer into the
fashion industry. The winning designer will be selected via on ground voting and
will be given a free slot at the Fashion Pakistan Week Spring/Summer2015 by the
council. No fee is being charged to the new designers showcasing their designs
at the Millennial Fashion, and their selection is purely based on their quality
of work.
The designers debuting
at the Millennial Fashion include, Sameer Sain, Nitasha Yaqub, Abel Emmanuel,
Madiha Raza and Aalish.
