MARIA.B. All SET TO SHOWCASE LA ROSERAIE ON THE OPENING DAY OF BCW 2014

After the launch of MARIA.B.’s pioneering Pashmina and Premium Luxury Linen 2014 collections, the designer label is set to display a new collection of bridal wear at the Bridal Couture Week 2014 on 11th December 2014. After the brand’s showcase at the bridal fashion stage, the collection will be available at MARIA.B.’s Bridal Studio located at 117-P Gulberg II, Lahore through custom order and via email orders made at mariab@mariab.pk.
MARIA.B.’s La Roseraie, which if translated becomes  the Rose Garden, is a dreamy, feminine collection inspired by 18th Century France era. The collection is primarily based in a color palette consisting of pastels but also features a selection of ensembles in monochrome shades. Expect luxe fabrics such as organza, nets and silks in elegant, European cuts and modern silhouettes comprising of long gowns, skirts, crop tops, short body jackets and cigarette pants. The designer has used the innovative style of digital prints, motifs and embellishments to impart a feeling of nostalgia and a vintage aesthetic to the collection.

 Telling about her brand’s collection at BCW 2014, Maria Butt, CEO MARIA.B. said, “Everything about our new collection has an element of nostalgia associated with it. While the collection itself is very feminine, there are dark gothic elements to some of the pieces, which synergize well with the other ensembles to come together as a story, which ultimately forms The Rose Garden. I look forward to showcasing the collection at BCW 2014 this year!”

Meet Pakistani Fashion Designers in Fashion Pakistan Week

Fashion Pakistan, the top front platform for Pakistani fashion designers, is pleased to announce the schedule of ‘Fashion Pakistan Week Autumn Winter 2014’ The Fashion Pakistan team proudly gives Pakistan its first ever official fashion week and being the only institution holding 2 fashion weeks per year based on Spring/Summer and Autumn/Winter.

Fashion Pakistan Week A/W2014 will be held from 25th–27th November, 2014 in Karachi. Fashion Pakistan currently involves the finest designers from Pakistan fashion industry and intends to make bigger the upcoming event and better in terms of both participation and attendance.
The designers/brands displaying their art at the Fashion Pakistan Week A/W 2014 include, Aamna Aqeel, Ayesha Farooq Hashwani,  Deepak Perwani, Adnan Pardesy, DnF, Emraan Rajput, Faraz Mannan, Fnk Asia, Ishtiaq Afzal Khan, Gul Ahmed, Levis, Maheen Karim, Maheen Khan, Nauman Arfeen, Nida Azwer, Sadaf Malaterre, Sana Safinaz, Shehla Chatoor ,Sanam Chaudhri, and Zaheer Abbas.

Official makeup masters for the event are NABILA(N-PRO) and N GENTS for  three days event. The show will be held under the direction of Hasan Sheryar Yasin and backstage will be managed by production 021. The official event and media partners for FPW A/W2014 is HUM TV network.
In addition to the three day Fashion Pakistan Week, Fashion Pakistan will also be holding an additional exclusive event called MILLENNIAL FASHION (previously called GenEX) right before the fashion week, to be held on the 22nd of November 2014 at a separate location. 5 new fashion designers will make their debut through this platform.

The Millennial Fashion is an event which is designed as an opportunity for young talent,  to penetrate the barriers set forth for budding designers by giving them a chance to showcase their work. This event is a stepping stone for future entrepreneurs, by providing them a solid experience in their field, for a chance to be recognized and to learn, to give more focus to new talent, helping them with their first step to a successful career.

The millennial fashion will launch new designers, styling teams, models and new choreographer into the fashion industry. The winning designer will be selected via on ground voting and will be given a free slot at the Fashion Pakistan Week Spring/Summer2015 by the council. No fee is being charged to the new designers showcasing their designs at the Millennial Fashion, and their selection is purely based on their quality of work.

The designers debuting at the Millennial Fashion include, Sameer Sain, Nitasha Yaqub, Abel Emmanuel, Madiha Raza and Aalish.

The Pakistan Fashion Design Council - PFDC L’Oréal Paris Bridal Week 2014

The Pakistan Fashion Design Council (PFDC) proudly announced their fourth consecutive season of PFDC  L’Oréal Paris Bridal Week 2014 which was observed in Lahore from 30th September to 02nd October 2014 in collaboration with L’Oréal Paris, which is the world’s leading beauty brand. This announcement followed the critical success of PFDC L’Oréal Paris Bridal Weeks held in December 2011, October 2012 and October 2013. Indeed the platform had showcased over forty bridal fashion and jewelry designers to date with shows styled by a diversity of make-up artists and stylists which highlighted bridal fashion wear, make-up and jewelry trends for the respective season.
PFDC L’Oréal Paris Bridal Week 2014  featured sixteen bridal showcases, including a Debut Show facilitated by Official PFDC Banking Partners Bank Alfalah, whose continued support to fashion has greatly contributed to the development of Pakistan’s emerging design talent. PFDC L’Oréal Paris Bridal Week 2014 endeavored to define and present both contemporary and traditional Pakistani bridal fashion, jewelry and make-up trends, fusing to create the ‘Look’ for the bridal season 2014 – 2015.

Summer Fashion Dresses for Pakistani Girls

Summer is the season When the time is ripe to change the varieties in terms of light fabrics and every one especially girls are interested in more and new clothes. Meet Some Top Fashion Designers of Pakistan

1. Amir Adnan
Amir Adnan, the trend setter and top designer of Pakistan is well known for bringing into vogue again Sherwani in Pakistan’s fashion world. He is the very first men’s wear international fashion designer from Pakistan’s fashion world. His designed dresses are expensive and affordable only for the posh class. Although his dresses are expensive but unique and represent royalty and grace.

   2. Asifa and Nabeel
These two are young, passionate and ambitious Pakistani fashion designers well known for bridal, wear, saree, western style dresses and formal attires. 3. Bunto Kazmi
Bunto Kazmi is the third top designer from Pakistan. She is famous for recreated Mughal culture and tradition in modern style.
